When life makes you scream, turn it into a melody.

Driving through the French countryside on a gray, rainy day making my way to Paris. Something about the scenery and mood it sets is so poetic- forget napping, I’ve set out to finish a few of the poems long in my head. As we meander through the wet and dotted landscape, there’s plenty of opportunity to reflect on where I am and decisions that I’ve made. I stand by them all. They have made me the good person that I finally see I am, and I now live everyday knowing that if this is as good as it gets, I’m superbly blessed. My peace comes from knowing that, relishing in it rather than pushing to make tomorrow even greater. Tomorrow just somehow happens to nicely fall in to place… Now if only I had a strong cup of coffee, next stop ;).

But, it’s not always easy. Yesterday was such a crappy day, that by nighttime I made a deal with myself- if I packed and was ready by 10pm, I’d go down to the lounge and have a nice glass of wine and forget about it all rather than go to bed in a funk. The Rioja was great.

I didn’t get a chance to make all the playlists I wanted to for this Euro trip, but I’ll post some of the tunes that are keeping me company on this chill ride, and if you have any suggestions, by all means, pls message me xo.
