HavenStory

When life makes you scream, turn it into a melody.

11 notes

Recluse

I don’t want anything really
You took it all

And without your weight
I’m liberated

I find myself surrounded
By your anonymity
And my recluse in the corner
Crawling up endless walls

I don’t want to remember
Nor cherish
Nor wonder
Or contemplate

Without your presence
I exist freely

No compass to guide my hurt
Disguise this love-starved feeling
Nor guilt to point to
Or supposed dreams to shoot for

I simply am without you
A free spirit
ready to move on
And contemplate the possibilities
Of being on my own
